Thursday & Friday ( Year Round ) This trip takes you through Nootka Sound, up Tahsis Inlet and out Esperanza Inlet to the Pacific Ocean. From there you travel along the West Coast to Kyuquot Sound where the trip ends at the settlement of Kyuquot, located on the inside of Walter's Island. Along the way the ship goes about her work of delivering supplies and passengers to a variety of marine outposts and settlements. You may see the annual migration of Gray Whales in early spring or a few of the resident Grays at any time. There can be bears on the beaches, sea otters, occasional killer whales in the ocean and a multitude of birds. This trip includes overnight accommodation, dinner (but does not include gratuity) and breakfast upon arrival in Kyuquot. Accommodation consists of a Bed & Breakfast arrangement where you cook your own breakfast with supplies provided. There is a well-stocked general store in Kyuquot (but no liquor outlet). Side trips can be arranged to visit off-lying islands, to fish or simply explore the area. ON ALL TRIPS — Stops will be made (as required) at logging camps and settlements in the area to deliver supplies, passengers or to drop off kayakers along our route. Note: Reservations required on all cruises. PAYMENT — If you wish to make a reservation, full payment in advance, (payable by Visa or Mastercard) is required. This itinerary also includes a list of Gold River accommodations and/or camping info, parking info, payment info ~ essentially everything you need to know about your voyage and the details leading up to your voyage.
